About Care Capital Collective
Most of the sector is working hard but not always working together.
In Care and Specialist Supported Housing (SSH), that’s where things start to slow down.
We bring the right people into the same room so conversations go further.
Our Mission
Complement. Connect. Collaborate
It starts with bringing the right people together.
From there, connections happen naturally and collaboration follows, leading to better outcomes across care and SSH.
Our Values
Better conversations lead to better outcomes—and that’s what the sector needs.
Be Intentional
This is a curated space.
We bring people together because they add value not just volume.
Keep It Real
No jargon. No posturing.
Just honest conversations about what’s working and what isn’t.
Respect People’s Time
Everyone is busy.
So when we come together, it needs to be focused, relevant and worth it.
No Noise
No cold calling.
No mass emails.
No pressure.
You choose who you connect with and how.
Add Value
This isn’t about taking.
It’s about what you bring. Your insight, your experience and your perspective.
Stay Open
Different views matter.
The best ideas come from people willing to listen, challenge and think differently.
Focus On What Works
We’re not here for theory.
We’re here for ideas and solutions that can actually be delivered.
Build Properly
Relationships take time.
We create the space for them to develop so they lead somewhere meaningful.

The people shaping delivery and making decisions across the sector.

Our Leadership

Dawn Astin
Founder
I’ve spent over 26 years working across housing, commissioning and care, leading large-scale transformation in Specialist Supported Housing (SSH).
From Director-level roles to system-wide programmes including the modernisation of supported housing at Lancashire County Council. I’ve focused on turning complex challenges into solutions that can actually be delivered.
What drives me is simple, creating clarity where things feel complex, connecting the right people and making sure ideas lead to real outcomes.
Phil Tattersall
Founder
I work at Director level across health, social care, housing and investment, bringing people together to design services that actually work.
My focus is simple: creating the right environments, building the right pathways, and developing care models that improve outcomes in practice, not just on paper.
Working with NHS teams, local authorities, providers, developers and investors, I help shape services that reduce hospital stays, prevent breakdowns, and support people closer to home.
The challenges in the system are real but so is the opportunity to do things differently.
What Our Founding Members Bring
Experience, insight, and a shared commitment to doing things differently.
People who understand the sector, contribute openly, and collaborate with purpose not just connect.
They add value to the room, build the right relationships, and help turn conversations into real outcomes.
